In June 2026 Assort raised a $120 million Series C led by Menlo Ventures at a $1.2 billion valuation, reaching unicorn status, with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners, Felicis, First Round Capital, and others. It has raised more than $222 million in total. The company says its agents have handled over 190 million patient interactions across more than 62,000 care protocols and 1.6 million decision pathways — a proprietary specialty dataset it credits for roughly twenty-fold revenue growth over the prior fifteen months.
Assort competes for the healthcare front-office automation market against legacy patient-access vendors and a wave of AI-native entrants. Its wager is that purpose-built voice agents, tuned to the specialties and protocols of real medical practices, can become the default interface between patients and the health system for routine administrative tasks — work that is costly, error-prone, and chronically understaffed when handled by humans alone.
