Bluware

Bluware is an oil-and-gas AI company specializing in seismic interpretation — turning the enormous 3D sound-wave surveys used to image the subsurface into usable geological insight. Its flagship, InteractivAI, applies interactive deep learning: a geoscientist labels a small fraction of a seismic volume and the model predicts the full 3D interpretation in seconds, dramatically compressing work that traditionally took weeks. Bluware also developed the VDS format, a cloud-native way to store and stream massive seismic datasets. Built on OSDU and cloud infrastructure, it is the strongest pure-play for the seismic-interpretation sub-domain and part of the broader CMG seismic-solutions ecosystem. As a genuine AI vendor, its value depends on geoscientists trusting and validating the AI-accelerated interpretations, which remain a tool for the interpreter rather than a replacement.
