Campfire builds an AI-native enterprise-resource-planning (ERP) system around a proprietary "Large Accounting Model" trained on accounting data to automate the financial close, general-ledger tasks, and reporting for mid-market finance teams. Headquartered in San Francisco, Campfire raised a Series B with investors including Accel and Ribbit, and counts OpenAI executives among its angel backers (though it is not backed by OpenAI the company). It represents the bet that finance software should be rebuilt AI-first rather than bolted onto legacy ERP.
