G42 (Group 42) is an Abu Dhabi-based AI and cloud computing company founded in 2018, positioning the United Arab Emirates as a major player in the global AI landscape. The company has become one of the most important AI entities in the Middle East through massive infrastructure investments and strategic partnerships with leading US technology companies.

G42 is building Stargate UAE, a 5GW AI data center campus in partnership with OpenAI, Oracle, NVIDIA, and SoftBank — one of the largest AI infrastructure projects in the world. Microsoft is investing $15.2 billion in UAE cloud and AI infrastructure through G42's subsidiary. The company also co-founded MGX, a $25 billion AI infrastructure investment fund backed by Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth.

G42 operates its own AI research labs and has developed Arabic-language AI models, while also serving as a regional distribution partner for Western AI technologies.
