📋About GreyOrange

Updated August 26, 2026

GreyOrange is a warehouse-automation company founded in 2011, operating between the US (Atlanta) and India, that focuses on the software brain of the warehouse as much as the robots. Its GreyMatter platform orchestrates fleets — deciding what each robot and worker should do next — and its DeepNav navigation stack (built with Google Cloud) moves robots through the facility. It reports orchestrating well over one hundred thousand agents.

The distinguishing bet is vendor-agnostic orchestration: GreyMatter can coordinate robots from multiple makers, positioning GreyOrange as the decision layer rather than only a robot supplier.

The honest framing: the load-bearing AI is the multi-agent orchestration and fleet decisioning — genuine optimization intelligence, not just movement. GreyOrange competes on making an entire mixed fleet work together efficiently.
