Isomorphic Labs is a drug discovery company founded in 2021 by Demis Hassabis, who also co-founded Google DeepMind and chairs it, operating as a subsidiary of Alphabet. Isomorphic Labs' core technology builds on DeepMind's AlphaFold breakthrough in protein structure prediction. The company has developed IsoDDE (Isomorphic Drug Design Engine), which scientists have dubbed "AlphaFold 4" for its ability to predict not just protein structures but also how drug molecules will bind to protein targets, how they will be metabolized, and their potential side effects — dramatically accelerating the early stages of drug design.

Isomorphic Labs has signed major partnerships with Eli Lilly and Novartis, two of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies, validating its AI-first approach to drug discovery.
