📋About Oracle

Updated June 15, 2026

Oracle Corporation (NYSE: ORCL) is one of the world's largest enterprise software companies, founded in 1977 by Larry Ellison. With $57.4 billion in FY2025 revenue, cloud revenue of $8 billion per quarter (+34% YoY), and a market cap exceeding $400 billion, Oracle is aggressively expanding its AI infrastructure.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) has become a major GPU cloud provider, with the Zettascale10 supercluster connecting hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA GPUs (up to 16 zettaFLOPS). OCI serves OpenAI (Stargate project), xAI ($10 billion commitment), and other AI leaders, attracted by 40-70% lower pricing versus AWS/Azure and 4-8x more cluster networking bandwidth. Oracle operates 101+ cloud regions across 28+ countries.

Oracle is investing approximately $50 billion in FY2026 capital expenditure for AI infrastructure buildout. Remaining performance obligations reached $523 billion (+438% YoY). In March 2026, reports indicated Oracle and OpenAI scaled back plans to expand the flagship Abilene Stargate data center, though the existing arrangement continues.
