Rhizome uses machine learning and national-lab resilience research to help utilities decide which grid investments deliver the most protection against extreme weather, wildfire, and outages. Its platform assigns a quantified value of resilience to proposed projects — weighing hazard exposure, compliance, and community vulnerability — and is used by utilities including Seattle City Light and by National Grid for wildfire-risk planning.
