SkyCiv is a cloud-based structural-engineering software company headquartered in Sydney, Australia, with a United States office in Chicago, founded in 2013. It moves structural analysis and design into the browser — its Structural 3D analysis, member and connection design, and wind and load tools run online rather than as installed desktop software, lowering the barrier for smaller firms and individual engineers. In 2025 SkyCiv added a wave of AI features layered on top of its analysis engine: an AI assistant that validates models, detects errors, and suggests design improvements; an AI model generator that turns a hand-drawn sketch, a textbook image, or a text prompt into a structural model; and a converter that turns two-dimensional drawings into three-dimensional models.
