Xaira Therapeutics is an AI-native drug-discovery company that launched in 2024 with one of the largest initial funding rounds the sector has seen — roughly 1 billion dollars, led by ARCH Venture Partners and Foresite Capital. Its ambition is full-stack: using predictive and generative AI across the whole arc of drug discovery and development, from target identification and molecular design to clinical work, rather than one narrow model. In 2026 it unveiled X-Cell, an AI cell model, and concentrated early efforts in immunology and inflammation. Xaira is deliberately platform-first, and as of this writing its pipeline is largely undisclosed — which is also the honest caveat: it is a very well-resourced bet on AI-driven discovery whose real-world validation, in the form of clinical candidates and outcomes, is still ahead.
