xCures is an Oakland, California-based health-AI company that turns fragmented, unstructured medical records into structured, decision-ready clinical data. Spun out of the cancer non-profit Cancer Commons in 2018 by co-founder and chairman Marty Tenenbaum, the company began by helping patients with advanced cancer assemble a complete treatment history and find options, and has since expanded across clinical domains. Its Clinical Clarity Engine ingests records from labs, hospitals, imaging centers, and electronic health record systems — often arriving as mismatched documents — and uses AI to extract and normalize them into evidence-grade, structured data that clinicians, researchers, and life-sciences teams can act on. xCures says it has processed more than 300 million medical records from over 550,000 sites, and works with customers including Exact Sciences, Caris Life Sciences, and Novocure. It has raised more than $75 million from investors led by Innovius Capital.
