What Is Marble?
Marble is the first product from World Labs, the spatial-intelligence company founded in 2024 by Fei-Fei Li, Justin Johnson, Ben Mildenhall and Christoph Lassner. Its documentation describes it as helping you create high-fidelity, persistent 3D worlds, powered by multimodal world models that reconstruct, generate and simulate three-dimensional environments.
The distinction from an image or video generator is persistence. A video model produces a fixed sequence of frames that looks convincing from the camera path it generated, and has no answer for what lies behind the camera. Marble produces a spatial representation you can move around inside, return to, edit, and export as a file that other software can open. The output is a place rather than a clip.
It accepts text prompts, a single image, multiple images, panoramic images and video, and it also accepts 3D structure directly through a built-in layout tool called Chisel, which lets you block out the arrangement of a space rather than describing it in words. Generated worlds can be expanded into larger spaces and edited interactively. Exports cover web sharing, virtual reality, development assets, integration with digital content creation software, and mesh export.

Commercial rights begin at the Pro plan, not at the free or entry plan. World Labs grants commercial rights to generated worlds starting with Pro at 35 dollars per month. The free plan and the 20 dollar Standard plan do not carry them. The 95 dollar Max plan inherits them from Pro and adds scale rather than any further rights, so a summary that presents commercial rights as a feature of the most expensive plan can lead you to pay 95 dollars a month for a 35 dollar entitlement. Check the threshold on the vendor's own pricing page rather than a secondary description. Confirmed there and in the billing documentation.
💡Key Concept
Gaussian splatting: a way of representing a 3D scene as millions of small, soft, coloured blobs rather than as a mesh of triangles. It reconstructs real or generated spaces with high visual fidelity and renders quickly, which is why it has become the common output format for world models. A mesh is still what most traditional 3D software expects, which is why Marble exports both.
📝Note
Atlas is a separate thing, and the waitlist notice refers to it rather than to Marble. The pricing page carries a banner inviting you to request access to Atlas, World Labs' omni world model announced in September 2026, and noting that it is coming to Marble soon. Atlas itself remains early access by waitlist. Marble is self-serve today, and reading that banner as a gate on Marble gets the access model backwards.

Find Marble at the vendor's own site, where accounts are created with a Google or GitHub sign-in. World Labs also publishes Spark, an MIT-licensed Gaussian splat renderer for the THREE.js library, and sells a separate developer platform with its own API credits.

Top-up credits are available on Standard and above, at 5 dollars for 5,000 credits or 20 dollars for 22,000. These are not the same as the API credits sold for the developer platform, which are purchased separately and do not interchange.
