On the manufacturing side, an NX CAM Copilot has been demonstrated that suggests machining operations, tooling, and parameters, with Siemens reporting large cuts in programming time.

Simulation and the Digital Thread

Because NX connects directly to Simcenter, AI surrogate models from that side of the portfolio feed back into design. NX CFD Designer brings fluid and thermal simulation into the CAD environment, letting engineers evaluate performance early rather than handing off to a separate analysis team. The broader goal is a continuous digital thread where design, simulation, and manufacturing share one model and AI accelerates each step.
