Most attention on transport AI goes to roads, but ships, aircraft, and trains are being reshaped too — each a thinner but real frontier. At sea, AI gives ships situational awareness and optimizes voyages for fuel and emissions. In the air, AI optimizes flight operations and airspace routing, and begins to fly aircraft autonomously. On rail, AI predicts equipment failures and moves toward autonomous rail vehicles.
